Range Ward’s Razer Grazers
Range Ward reached out to us in January 2023 needing their Razer Grazer trailer frames welded efficiently, with both timely and consistent craftsmanship. We appreciate being a part of the production of these unique trailers and are still regularly welding them in our shop today. Range Ward provides us with laser cut parts, engineering drawings, tolerances and deadlines. Every week our fabrication team accepts new parts and gets to work measuring, marking, fitting, and welding each frame together. Our production manager is intimately involved and performs quality checks throughout the process. This ongoing collaboration with Range Ward exemplifies our commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and reliable service. By consistently meeting their needs with precision and efficiency, we have built a strong, trusted partnership.
Still Austin Barrel Plaques
Still Austin Whiskey Co. was looking for a way to make their single barrel program even more unique. To add a special touch for customers who purchase whole barrels, they reached out to 3 Sixteenths to create custom barrel plaques. We create these plaques using CNC plasma cutting, coating, and laser engraving, ensuring each one meets the highest standards of quality and attention to detail. Our collaboration with Still Austin Whiskey Co. has resulted in memorable personalized plaques that their customers appreciate.
Custom Glass Molds for Garcia Art Glass
Garcia Art Glass approached us with a need for a high-detail steel mold to create unique, decorative decanter lids. Using 3D CAD design and CNC machining, we designed and produced a finely detailed mold (only 2 inches tall) to capture the impression of a very specific stone statue of an angel. They then used this mold to create custom glass tiles with the precise and artistic image cast into each piece. We continue to provide this service for Garcia Art Glass and help out with the custom design and production of other molds they need
Wagon Wheel Door
This project was for an individual who asked us to create an artistic gate using a 100+ year old wagon wheel he had found on his property. After taking hundreds of measurements, we re-created the wheel in a digital 3D design environment. We then designed a subtle floating rail and cantilever arm system intended to reduce the opening and closing effort as much as possible while still letting the wheel itself roll. Every part of this project was a design challenge, because the wagon wheel was uneven in every possible direction. Regardless of the challenges, the final product worked exactly as intended and the design did not detract from the aesthetic of the unique antique.
